          It’s Time for Christmas is the latest (2010) in the Duck and Goose series.  This time out, the two feathered friends are getting ready for Christmas; however, Goose is more interested in skating, sledding, and making snow angels than in helping Duck decorate a Christmas tree.  It just might be this season’s perfect stocking stuffer.
          Like James Marshall's George and Martha, and Rosemary Wells's Benjamin and Tulip, Tad Hills's simple text and expressive illustrations create an endearing pair of feathered protagonists.  Suggested ages 3-7 (but some 18-month-old-grandkids and their grandparents love them too!).
