Conference Assistance for 1st- and 2nd-Year ELA Teachers

Once again, the Edmonton Regional Chapter of ELAC will be providing scholarships to help three
1^st- or 2^nd-year ELA teachers  attend ELAC's 2011 Conference (May 6 to 8 at the Banff Centre).  

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

• hold a current membership in the English Language Arts Council
• teach at a school in a district in the Edmonton Area or North

Applications will include the following information:     

• Applicant's Name       
• School Name
• Division (e.g., Div. 2)
• School Board
• Applicant's teaching assignment this year (10/11)
• Applicant's e-mail
• Applicant's mailing address
• Reasons for applying for this funding

Applicants will email their applications to Edmonton.Regional@gmail.com.  

Applications must be received by February 15, 2011.
