Grants to Attend a Specialist Council Conference

Every Fall, the ATA receives over 200 applications for grant monies to attend of the 18 specialist council conferences.  (In 2006, for ELAC's May 2007 conference alone there were 22 applications.)

Grant monies will be awarded to a number of selected ELAC Members who incur a minimum of $300 in personal expenses (that cannot be recovered from any other source) to attend our May 2011 Conference. 

DEADLINE: Applications that are received by SEPTEMBER 30 will be considered.  If the criteria are met AND the application forms are properly filled out, applicant's names will be entered into a draw. 

All applicants will be advised by mail in early October of the draw results.

Conference attendance grants will be paid only after the recipient has attended the conference and has submitted receipts for expenses incurred. Eligible expenses include registration, travel, accommodation and expenses not covered by other grants.
