Teachers fondle folios

A book club is not just for Oprah devotees.  At our 2008 ELAC Conference in Jasper, teachers had the opportunity to discuss a variety of current literary titles with their colleagues during our first-ever Book Club Evening.

Months prior to the 2008 Conference, the planning committee selected a variety of titles.  After dinner on the Saturday evening of the Conference, teachers networked and socialized – AND shared a love of literature – by discussing the various titles.  Much was read, said and even a wee bit of wine was consumed.
