Curriculum Corner

ELAC embraces a world view in which human beings are empowered to exchange ideas authentically, effectively and constructively.

This portion of ELAC's Website offers ideas and approaches that foster meaningful student experiences with the Six Language Arts and support the Alberta ELA programs of studies for Grades K-9 and 10-12.  Its authors are Alberta teachers.

• five sections that illustrate the Five General Outcomes found in Alberta's programs of studies for ELA

• additional sections that specifically and concretely support aspects of the curriculum such as evaluating student work, helping students understand multiple choice reading tests, helping teachers communicate with parents
