Barbara-Lynn Goodwin and E-mentored Teachers

E-mentoring Program for Beginning Teachers

The participants in this pilot program are all teachers in the central region of the province. Two protégés were paired with a mentor into e-teams that supported one another throughout the year. Terry Susut, ELA Department Head at Lacombe High School, and Barbara-Lynn Goodwin, ELA Department Head at W.E. Hay Composite High School, mentored new teachers from Lindsay Thurber High School in what became a fruitful project for all of them. This session discussed the findings from this project, including the advantages of E-mentoring.
